Privacy Policy

Short version: Stillcut does its work entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, and it has no analytics, tracking, ads, or accounts.

What the app accesses

Videos you choose. When you pick a video (from Photos or Files), Stillcut reads it locally only to let you scrub it and extract frames. Videos are never uploaded anywhere.
Photo library (save). When you save an extracted frame, the app adds that image to your photo library using the system permission you grant. It does not read or browse your library beyond what you select.

Data we collect

None. Stillcut has no servers and makes no network requests for your content. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, location, or any personal information. Because nothing is collected, nothing is sold or shared.

Purchases

The optional one-time “Pro” upgrade is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and your purchase history; Stillcut never sees your payment details. Restoring a purchase is handled by Apple via your Apple ID.

Images you create

Frames you extract are saved to your own device / photo library or shared by you via the system share sheet. You control where they go; the app does not retain copies elsewhere.

Children’s privacy

Stillcut does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
